Make an Appointment

For example, as part of the “examination” portion, we will review your dental X-rays to detect any potential problems. We will also provide an oral cancer screening, an evaluation for periodontal (gum) disease and tooth decay, and review your existing dental restorations (fillings, crowns, etc.) to ensure that everything is in working order.

During the cleaning, our hygienist will remove calculus (tartar) and plaque with special, ultrasonic tools. These tools, in combination with our hygienist’s extensive training, will help to eliminate calculus and plaque from the areas you can’t reach yourself when brushing or flossing. To finish the treatment, our hygienist will polish your teeth to remove any remaining plaque and surface stains for a brighter, cleaner smile. Attending your regular appointments is absolutely essential to maintaining optimal oral health.

Dr. Cash recommends coming in for an exam and cleaning at least twice a year to maintain your optimal oral health. Whether it’s been awhile since your last exam or it’s simply time for your next cleaning, we look forward to taking care of you!
